In her photographs, Sarah strives to capture the “soul" of every subject, whether it is the heartfelt emotion of a Blues player in the midst of a jam, the inspiration she finds in her unique views of local landmarks, or the essence of the men, women and children who sit for her portraits.

The Magic City of Birmingham, AL, is filled with people, places, and things that any artist would love and stirs Sarah's creative impulse. She is known for her photographic work with local musicians. Sarah's work was recently featured in an article in Guitar Player Magazine about Jack Dudley's handmade guitars.

Sarah also loves to feature Alabama landscapes in her work, and the seasons of the Deep South also offer a large canvas for Sarah.

“We have summer, spring, winter, and fall," says Sarah. “We have them all. I can capture our beautiful, natural land any time of the year."
